I started Five-Finger Discount Co. because at the time I felt as if my only creative outlet was slowly being taken away from me and that I was no longer in control of my own creative thoughts. I woke up one day and decided that nobody but me can “own” my creativity and starting F-FD was my way of taking it back. I can try anything I want and never worry about failure. It’s all part of a process and there are no failures when you make art…just happy accidents.
